January 2010 Track Pack News
Happy New Year everyone!
Start the new year off right by downloading new tracks for Guitar Hero 5 or Band Hero! This month we are visiting many places on the musical map from blues to Euro indie bands, a trip into classic rock territory and also landing smack dab in the land of teh metalz.
January 7th has us exploring some up and coming Blues artists. The new Blues Masters Track Pack allows players to jam to Tyler Bryant’s “Who I am,” experience the American blues-rock styling’s of Joe Bonamassa with “Lonesome Road Blues,” or rock out to "Broken Man" by Scott McKeon. To celebrate the release of Vampire Weekend's new album Contra on January 11 - UK/January 12 - US, we are bringing all you Heroes a three-song track pack! The Vampire Weekend Track Pack features the songs "Holiday" and "Cousins" off the new album plus "The Kids Don't Stand a Chance" off their self-titled to round out the pack.
Are you ready for some Metal? Get ready for the shredding because on January 21st, we have three new bands making their appearance on Guitar Hero for the first time! The Metal Track Pack has “Still I Rise,” a track of Shadows Fall sixth studio album, Retribution, "Twilight of the Thunder God" off Amon Amarth’s seventh studio album similarly titled, Twilight of the Thunder God, and “Laser Canon Deth Sentence" off Dethklok’s second full-length album, Dethalbum II.
And last but certainly not least we have a Creedence Clearwater Revival Pack hitting the music store on January 28th. The three song track pack contains “Proud Mary,” a track off Creedence Clearwater Revival’s second album Bayou Country, “Bad Moon Rising” from their third album Green River and “Travelin' Band” off their fifth album Cosmo's Factory.
